What began as an exploration into the purity and potential of Hutson Oil led our research partners at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine to a remarkable discovery. Within this natural extract, their scientific team identified a powerful active compound — one with profound effects on damaged and irregular skin cells. This compound would become known as REPYR-SC1™.
Through nearly two years of university-based laboratory testing, the REPYR-SC1™ hemp extract demonstrated its ability to help defend skin from UVB-induced damage, support cell repair, and reduce proliferation in precancerous cells. The findings were later presented at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), underscoring its potential to transform the future of skin health.

University-Based Research
Independent research conducted at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine revealed that REPYR-SC1™ exhibited potent, dose-dependent anti-proliferative effects on squamous and basal cell carcinoma models. In controlled laboratory conditions, the extract selectively inhibited abnormal cell growth while preserving healthy skin cells.

The abstract titled “REPYR-SC1 Hemp Extract Exhibits Potent Inhibition of Squamous Cell Carcinoma” highlighted the compound’s potential as a groundbreaking skincare active for damaged and irregular skin cells.

REPYR-SC1™ and Basal Cell Carcinoma — 48 Hour Results
Laboratory testing on human Basal Cell Carcinoma (TE 354.T) cultures at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine showed a rapid, dose-dependent decline in cell viability within 48 hours. Even at low concentrations (1 µL/mL), REPYR-SC1™ significantly inhibited abnormal cell proliferation — reaching near-total inhibition at higher doses.
Within 48 hours, REPYR-SC1™ reduced Basal Cell Carcinoma cell counts by over 95% in a concentration-dependent manner.
REPYR-SC1™ vs Metastatic Melanoma Kill Curve (up to 36h)
REPYR-SC1™ achieved 100% melanoma cell death by 36 hours at 10 µL/mL and 80% reduction at 5 µL/mL.
REPYR-SC1™ and Skin Cancer Cell Testing — 36–48 Hour Results
In laboratory testing at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, REPYR-SC1™ was applied to human skin cancer cell cultures at two concentrations (1 µL/mL and 5 µL/mL). Within 36 hours, the 5 µL/mL dose achieved a complete (100%) eradication of cancer cells, while the 1 µL/mL dose achieved approximately 95% eradication within 48 hours. These findings validate REPYR-SC1™ as an advanced, science-backed active with clinically observed efficacy in targeting abnormal and precancerous skin cells.

REPYR-SC1™ and Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC-15) — 36–72 Hour Results
In laboratory studies conducted at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, REPYR-SC1™ demonstrated significant, time- and dose-dependent inhibition of proliferation (p < 0.001) in human squamous cell carcinoma (SCC-15) cultures. At 5 µL/mL, 100% inhibition was observed within 36 hours, while at 1 µL/mL, near-total inhibition was achieved by 72 hours. Healthy HEKa cells retained over 75% viability, confirming selective targeting of abnormal cells.
